Manos Fikaris was born in Athens, Greece. In 2007, he left his economics studies to pursue photography, completing his training at the Leica Academy in 2009. He has worked as a photographer ever since.

For the past decade, his work has centered on documentary and travel photography, with much of his time spent in Asia. He focuses on underrepresented communities and environmental issues, aiming to highlight everyday stories. His photographs have appeared in a range of local and international publications.

He is currently developing a long-term project exploring the social and environmental impacts of renewable energy across Southeast Asia
